Protecting Your Flute

Your flute is a piece of nature’s magic, and it deserves care on its journey with you. Each Windwalkers flute comes with a soft cloth pouch to shield it from scratches and dust, perfect for tucking it away after a song. For extra protection—especially when traveling or playing outdoors—I recommend a padded case to guard the shellac finish and any delicate elements, like the crystals on a custom piece. If you’d like to display your flute’s beauty, a padded wall rack can keep it safe while showing off its story. A soft cloth and a flute cleaning rod are your best friends for keeping the flue clear and the finish shining—just follow the tips on our Flute Care (#) page to let your flute thrive.

Warranty: My Promise to You

I stand behind every flute I make with a 30-day warranty from the day it arrives in your hands. This covers structural defects, like natural cracks in the wood, or issues with my craftsmanship. If something’s not right, reach out to me within 30 days with photos of the issue, and I’ll do my best to repair or replace the flute at my discretion.

This warranty doesn’t cover damage from shipping, accidental drops, wear and tear, or improper care—like exposure to extreme humidity, overplaying, or using oils on the shellac finish. For custom flutes, I’ll handle claims on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness. Shipping costs for warranty claims are your responsibility, and I ask that you pack the flute securely for its return journey—I’m not responsible for damage or loss during shipping. My goal is to keep your flute singing its song, so let’s work together to care for it.
